NEW YORK–Phillips-Van Heusen said yesterday that it will
purchase Tommy Hilfiger for about $3 billion in cash and stock.

Phillips- Van Heusen already owns Calvin Klein, Izod and Arrow.

Revman International has the Tommy Hilfiger license for the soft home business.
