SEATTLE–The O Ecotextiles collection of eco-friendly fabrics has been chosen one of BuildingGreen’s top 10 “green” building products for 2008.
Created by the editors of Environmental Building News and the GreenSpec directory of green building products, the award recognizes the most innovative green building products added to the directory during the past year or covered by Environmental Building News. O Ecotextiles’ line is produced with organic fibers such as bamboo, hemp, abaca, ramie, linen and silk. According to a statement from O Ecotextiles, the fabrics conform to the standards for organic products set out by the Global Organic Textile Standard.
The O Ecotextiles fabric line debuted in the United States this year, and is available for residential and contract-hospitality use.
