NEW YORK–Nautica has signed an agreement with Welspun USA to enlarge their license arrangement to include fashion bedding, bath accessories, window treatments and indoor area rugs.
Before the new agreement, Nautica’s license with Welspun encompassed free-standing sheets, bath rugs, bath towels and beach towels. Welspun will begin distributing the first grouping from the newly added products this spring, according to a statement from both companies. The line is being geared toward department stores and specialty stores in the United States and Canada.
Maria Vicari, president of Nautica’s global licensing unit, said the new agreement “will further enhance our well-established bedding and bath business.”
