RIVERDALE, N.Y.–Littwin/Luxury Fabrics has launched “Buy the Piece,” a program for retailers that want to offer fabrics to consumers.
The program allows retailers to purchase fabrics from the company, which provides the inventory management and servicing, including placing the bar-coded UPC ticket on each piece. Among the products offered in the program are jacquards, chenilles, velvets and textured fabrics and they are sold in lengths of one to three yards. Other sizes are available. “Buy the Piece” is geared toward stores in a variety of channels, including home specialty stores, off-price stores and chains.
Steve Littwin, co-owner of Littwin/Luxury Fabrics, said “Buy the Piece” is “for stores that want to offer fabrics, but don’t want to get involved in the service element. We can also work with requests for other types of fabrics, and there is no limit to the quantities the retailer can ask for.”
