NEW YORK–Alok International has appointed Larry Hicks as vice president of U.S. operations.
Hicks thus assumes charge over the textiles manufacturer’s U.S. business, in particular over positioning this segment for continued growth and meeting customer needs. A company statement announcing Hicks’ appointment did not specify if this position is a new one for the company, or to whom he reports. Arun Agarwal is chief executive officer of Alok Inc. U.S.
Before joining Alok, Hicks was vice president of sales to national accounts for Dan River. He also served as vice president of sales for JLA Home, and held various senior management positions with WestPoint Pepperell (now WestPoint Home).
