NEW YORK–Football fans, particularly those from New York and New England, who plan to attend the annual Gift for Life Party on Feb. 3 can rest easy: They will be able to watch the Super Bowl during the event.
The annual party, held to benefit amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research, will be held at Strata on Broadway here. Fans can watch the underdog New York Giants take on the undefeated New England Patriots on the mezzanine level of the restaurant, “so that party-goers may enjoy both the biggest industry fundraiser of the year as well as the biggest football game of the year,” according to a statement from Gift for Life.
Honorees of the party include Paulette Cole of ABC Carpet and Home, who will be presented with the Outstanding Industry Contribution Award. Sheila Charton of Merchandise Mart Properties will be honored with the Bert Tonkin Gift of Giving Award. Will Little of George Little Management will receive the Chuck Yancy Lifetime Achievement Award.
