Gift for Life Adds Eight Members

NEW YORK–Gift for Life, the charitable organization for the gift, stationery and home decor industries, has added eight members to its board, for a total of 29.
They include Peter Crover, vice president, sales, ROMA Home Decor, a manufacturer of photo frames, mirrors, art and more; Eric Dean, president, Whereoware, a gift and home industry technology and marketing company that has supported Gift for Life for many years; Frank Joens, vice president of leasing and sales, LA Mart, a leading market center based in Los Angeles; Jannetta Litzman, co-founder and chief financial officer, Brandwise, an application service provider that delivers hosted software solutions to manufacturers and their sales channels; Stu Teller, managing partner, Right Angle Strategies, a strategic management services company serving the gift and home industry; Wendy Tonkin, president, Western Exhibitors, the trade show and consumer show management company responsible for trade events on the West Coast, including Portland, Seattle and San Francisco; Meg Tully, vice president of sales for Archipelago Botanicals, a leading home products company for natural soy candles and fragrance and bath and body products; and Lorrie Veasey, creative director for Our Name is Mud, the ceramic giftware company.
“We welcome these passionate industry leaders to the organization,” said Jenny Hammons, chair. “Together they will help sustain our important cause.”
Together, the board oversees the fundraising for DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS and its mission to eradicate the AIDS pandemic in the U.S. It consists of volunteers from manufacturing, sales, media, technology, marketing, management, retail, and trade show management.
