NEW YORK—Steven Fishman, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Big Lots; the Lichtenberg family of S. Lichtenberg & Co.; and Anurag Sharma, president of Welspun Global Brands, will be honored at the Fashion Institute of Technology’s 14th annual Scholarship Awards Breakfast during the March New York Home Fashions Market.
Fishman will receive the Retailer of the Year award, and Sharma will receive the Leader in Product Innovation and Marketing award. The Lichtenberg family will receive the Distinguished Family Leadership award.
The event will take place at Cipriani, 110 E. 42nd Street here on Tuesday, March 9 from 7 to 9 a.m. Warren Shoulberg, editor and associate publisher of HFN, will be master of ceremonies. Event co- chairs include Carl Goldstein, senior vice president of S. Lichtenberg; J. Barry Leonard, chief executive officer of Croscill, Ex-Cell Home Fashions and Glenoit; Peter G. Scotese, chairman emeritus of the FIT board of trustees; and Richard Roman, president and CEO of Revman and president of the Home Fashion Products Association.
