NEW YORK–David Conn, executive vice president of Iconix Brands, will be leaving the company.
According to a statement from Iconix, Conn’s employment agreement with the company expired earlier this year. Over the next several months, Conn will transition his responsibilities to other Iconix executives while he serves in a non-executive capacity.
Yehuda Shmidman, vice president of business development, will take on Conn’s responsibilities over the company’s international business. The investor-relations functions handled by Conn will be divided among Neil Cole, Iconix’s chief executive officer; Warren Clamen, chief financial officer; and Jamie Steinheit, director of strategic development. Clamen and Shmidman report to Cole, while Steinheit reports to Clamen.
The company statement did not comment on Conn’s future plans. In the statement, Cole praised Conn for his “significant contributions” to Iconix during his tenure.
