NEW YORK–Danielle and Co. was awarded “Best of Show” yesterday at the Ex-Tracts: New Discoveries in Beauty and Wellness show here.
Awards also were presented in five product-specific categories (Bath & Body, Beauty Accessory, Cosmetic & Fragrance, Natural/Organic and Packaging), with winners and finalists selected by a panel of trade editors.
Danielle and Co. was awarded the “Best of Show” for its Organic Soap Garden.
In the Bath & Body category, the winner was Honeycat Cosmetics for its Chick of the Sea/Foaming Crystals. The winner in the Beauty Accessory category was Tassi by Whats Hot! with a product to keep hair away from the face while washing. Joya by A Candle in the Wind was the winner in the Cosmetic & Fragrance category for its Perfume in Porcelain.
European Soaps was the winner of the Natural/Organic category for the Bite Be Gone, a dual-action product with mosquito repellent cream to prevent bites and an after-bite balm to relieve itching. The Balm won the Packaging category for the Read My Lips Lipsticks, packaged in recyclable newspaper print tubes.
