NEW YORK-The steering committee of Executives Working in Home Textiles (EWHT) has donated $2,200 to the FIT Foundation to help support the travel expenses of a student who will attend Maison & Objet in January.

The grant is part of EWHT’s continuing annual support of the FIT Home Product Development Program. Linda Kulla, EWHT treasurer and vice president of Bardwil Industries’ Lenox bath division, said, “The Home Products Development Program at FIT graduates the best job candidates for our industry. Student exposure to major trade shows is a learning component that benefits our industry over many years.”

EWHT is also encouraging supporting donations from other home products companies and individuals.
