NEW YORK–The New York chapter of the International Furnishings & Design Association will present its bi-annual Circle of Excellence awards on Tuesday, May 4. The incorrect date was listed in a story earlier this week.

The honorees this year are Cindy Allen of Interior Design magazine in the media category; Charles Pavarini III of Charles Pavarini III Design Associates for interior design; John Stark and Steven Stark of Stark for product design/development; Ray Gomez of Benjamin Moore in the retailer-to-the-trade resource category; Angela Nahikian of Steelcase for “green” achievement; Bill Moggridge of The Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in the education category; and Kenneth Wampler of The Alpha Workshops, who will receive the special humanitarian award.

The awards event will take place at the Union League Club, 38 E. 37th St. here from 6 to 8 p.m.
