NEW YORK—Herb Briggs, president of Dan River’s home fashions division, has resigned.
In a message to HFN, Briggs said he will leave the home textiles manufacturer later this week to pursue another unspecified opportunity. Calls to Briggs and Michael Flatow, Dan River’s chief executive officer, were not returned at press time.
Briggs joined Dan River as president of the home fashions division in September 2007. Before joining the company, he was senior vice president of marketing and sales for Perfect Fit, which he joined in 2003. Prior to that, he was president of Guilford Home Fashions.
