NEW YORK–Bernard Ashley, the widower of designer Laura Ashley who helped build the Laura Ashley line of home furnishings and apparel, has died at age 82. The cause was cancer, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
With his wife, Bernard Ashley was instrumental in creating the line that became iconic for its English floral prints.
