COSTA MESA, Calif.–Anna’s Linens has formed a partnership with Mom Inventors to give mothers the opportunity to create their own invention to be sold in Anna’s Linens stores.
The program is an invitation to mothers with an entrepreneurial bent to bring their inventions to Anna’s Linens locations, where they can be evaluated by Anna’s Linens executives for possible inclusion in the store’s merchandise offerings. The winning products will be sold under the Mom Invented brand, which is now sold in more than 9,000 stores throughout the world, according to a statement from Anna’s Linens.
“This program allows (Anna’s Linens) to connect with the communities it serves and allows moms an opportunity to become an entrepreneur and sell a product in their stores,” said an Anna’s Linens spokeswoman.
The program began in October at the Anna’s Linens in Phoenix, and the next contests will be held in Los Angeles on Jan. 8 and Jan. 9, 2010. The spokeswoman said it has not yet been determined how long the program will extend, or how many Anna’s Linens locations will eventually be involved.
