MUMBAI, India–Alok Industries has set up a Textile Technology Group to develop new technologies for its textiles product line.

The company will leverage Alok’s advanced research-and-development facilities, laboratories and plant and machinery. The group already has developed a new proprietary textile finish called Sheer Soft, which makes fabric softer and gives bedding a super-sheer feel, the company said.
