SOUTH DEERFIELD, Mass.–Yankee Candle will introduce Pure Radiance, a line of candles in a contemporary shape and with more complex scents, at the Atlanta International Gifts & Home Furnishings Show in January.
The introduction departs from Yankee’s traditional apothecary jar-style and comes at the consumer requests for more modern design, a spokeswoman said. The new, simple shape bows out slightly at the center and is capped by a copper-colored lid that bears the Yankee name. Twelve fragrances will debut, which are exclusive to the line. Three jar sizes will be available, and price points will be on par with those for the apothecary-style jar. Complementary accessories will also be available.
The company is also introducing blue-tinted jars for its new spring line called Water Inspirations, and has created Great American Weekend, a collection geared towards men (both gifting and self-purchase) with scents, colors and styles intended to appeal to them, such as the smell of a freshly mown lawn or freshly cut wood.
