LAS VEGAS–Roger Thomas of Wynn Design and Development will be designated a Design Icon during the Las Vegas Market in February.
The honor is part of the market’s Design Icon Lecture Series in which designers share stories and experiences to inspire future designers. Other noted designers who have been honored include Vladimir Kagan and Larry Laslo.
Thomas is credited with creating the interiors at the Wynn Las Vegas and for playing a key role in designing the interiors at other Wynn properties, including the Wynn Macau, Encore at Wynn Las Vegas and Wynn Diamond Macau—the latter of which will open in January 2010.
Among other Las Vegas properties in which Thomas designed the interiors are the Golden Nugget, the Mirage Resort, Treasure Island and the Bellagio Resort.
