HONG KONG–Phoenix Art Co. has appointed Alan Wertheimer to the new title of president.
For the past two and a half years, Wertheimer has served as vice president of international sales for Phoenix Art, a China-based home furnishings manufacturer that sells accessories, furniture and lighting to importers. Wertheimer, who is based in New York, will focus on growing sales through European Union companies. He continues to report to Michael Kraft, chairman and founder.
In another move, Michael Berzenye, senior merchandise manager, has been named vice president of international sales, and will directly assist Wertheimer in achieving the company’s goal of growth through global association. Berzenye is based in California.
