NEW YORK–Three tabletop companies have renewed their showroom leases at 41 Madison Avenue, for a total of six since December, the building said.
Yamazaki Tableware, Sango America and Scafati & Company have each renewed their leases. Lunt Silversmiths, Royal Crown Derby and Nikko Ceramics renewed leases at the end of December 2008.
“I believe this harbinger of good news indicates a strong vote of confidence in both the tableware industry and Forty One Madison as its headquarters,” said Laurie Burns, senior vice president and director of the building. “Our roster of companies is international in scope with leading names across the board, from luxury brands to high-end housewares. We have been pleased with the steady traffic in the building for the New York Gift Show and are looking forward to a well attended Spring Tabletop Market in April.”
