Riverview design from Pop Japan
PETALUMA, Calif.-Emma at home, the modern home decor collection by Emma Gardner, has introduced Pop Japan, a collection of reproductions of Gardner's original handmade paper cut-outs and studies of popular motifs.
Consisting of 26 works, the collection includes such designs as Koi Fish, Fish Tail, Fish Tail-close and Obi funk fish, which are whimsical plays on her popular rugs and pillows. There is also Sushi, which takes elements from one of her pillows from the Lunchbox Collection. A more classic interpretation is the Riverview design, which depicts villages nestled along a peaceful river.
"Pop Japan features some of my favorite Asian-inspired motifs and colors," said Emma Gardner, principal of emma at home. "Being able to offer the designs in this fresh color palette is a treat, as each design takes on a whole new dimension and pops in unique ways."
Available online and at the company's flagship store here, Pop Japan is the second art group Gardner has released.
