NEW YORK–The New York Home Furnishings and Design Organizations Coalition will host the third annual Summer Social on July 13.

The event will take place at the Tribeca Rooftop here from 6 to 9 p.m. Both a live auction and a silent auction are scheduled for this year’s event to benefit Publicolor, an organization that promotes the use of vibrant colors in transforming environments to improve the behavior and attitudes of the people who use these spaces. The organization works to involve students in painting their public schools, and offers the students academic and youth-development programs throughout their school years.

The coalition is asking home-furnishings manufacturers, retailers and restaurants to donate an item or gift certificate to the live auction or the silent auction. For more information about donating auction items, e-mail belle.smith@benjaminmoore.com.
