Dallas Market Center Expands Gourmet, Handmade Opportunities

       

       

DALLAS–Dallas Market Center said it will offer fresh resources and special events and seminars during the Total Home & Gift Market, June 19-25. The first buying opportunity of the summer will feature new and expanded showrooms and ease of technology through the Dallas Market application and free Wi-Fi.

Dallas Market Center also said its Dallas Total Housewares & Gourmet Market is growing, with more than 1,500 manufacturers of housewares and gourmet products in permanent showrooms, temporary booths and the Gourmet Market, debuting an expansion totaling 22,000 square feet. Housewares Hotspot will feature product demonstrations from top housewares manufacturers on Thursday, June 20 through Saturday, June 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. In addition, the Culinary Stage in the WTC Hall of Nations will feature live cooking and product demonstrations by high-profile restaurant chefs June 20-22 at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

A seminar on “Handmade in the Marketplace Today” will take place on Thursday, June 20 at 10 a.m., highlighting the significance and buying opportunities of handmade items. There will also be walking tours of Handmade Gift Finds and Handmade Fashion & Accessories Finds on June 21 and 22 at 10 a.m.
