Dallas Housewares & Gourmet, Total Home & Gift Markets Open
DALLAS--The Dallas Total Home & Gift Market--as well as the inaugural Total Housewares & Gourmet Market--opens today, with an array of new exhibitors, special events and seminars and celebrity chef appearances.
Gourmet Market, the permanent multi-line showroom located in World Trade Center 1-180, will offer food and beverage tastings throughout the market, as well as chance to win two airline tickets to New Orleans in its Gourmet Market Giveaway. Attendees can drop off a business card at Gourmet Market to enter to win the tickets; the drawing is Monday at noon.
In addition, numerous companies have expanded in Gourmet Market, including Neighbors Coffee, OIC International Basketware, Rachael Ray in Kent Kulovitz & Associates, Recipe Nest, Southwest Books, Sweet 'n Saucy and Wimberley Valley Gourmet Specialties.
Housewares Hotspots will run daily in the Trade Mart and feature product demonstrations from such companies as Bodum, Boston Warehouse, Calphalon, Chicago Metallic, Cuisipro, Curious Chef, Island Bamboo, Jura Capresso, Kuhn Rikon, Mauviel Cookware, OXO Intl., Soda Stream, Trudeau, USA Pans and Wilton Armetale.
The FINDS Dallas Temp Show has doubled its Table & Housewares category to showcase functional gifts, dining, cooking and entertaining wares, as well as clever items for the home. Key exhibitors include Artistic Creations, Creative Gift, Dansk, Gorham and Lenox.
Tomorrow through Saturday, the DMC also has a full schedule of cooking demonstrations at its Culinary Theater, which it debuted in June 2012 with celebrity chef Curtis Stone. Stone will return to the theater at noon on Saturday.
