Company C Debuts Customer-Service Initiative

CONCORD, N.H.--Company C has launched a program to enhance its wholesale customer service.
The plan includes extended customer-service department hours, the introduction of the Company C dealer Web portal and an all-around focus on customer needs. At the beginning of this year, the manufacturer expanded its customer-service department hours from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. It has also formed an on-call team to help customers in the early-morning and late-evening hours.
Company C has also overhauled its Web site, companyc.com, to make navigation easier and increase brand awareness. The site now provides wholesale customer access to real-time inventories; online order entry, including viewing order history and specifying drop shipments; shipment tracking; access to business documents; the option to download marketing aids, including ready-made print advertisements and in-store signage; and a link to selling tools.
