SANTA FE-Former Nambe design executive Bob H. Borden has opened a new design firm called Ideas And People.

Ideas And People bills itself as "a multi-disciplinary design studio, a brand architecture firm and an incubator of emerging businesses" with offices in Dallas, New York and Santa Fe. Ideas And People offers product development and brand positioning services. Clients range from start-ups to international businesses that include The MoMA, Bloomingdales, Luigi Bormioli and Royal Selangor.

"I am thrilled about the opening of Ideas And People," said Borden, who served as vice president of design and brand for Nambe from 1992 to 2005. "With so much disruption in the marketplace, companies big and small have to re-invent themselves and be relevant to the consumer. We design award-winning marketing campaigns and products, conduct research, raise investment capital, as well as launch and manage compelling brand experiences. The objective is to assemble the appropriate team for the client, their market and their budget. We put ideas and people to work."
