NEW YORK–The 7 W New York showroom building has scheduled keynote presentations for the first NYC Baby & Kids Fair, which will take place from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, 2010.
On Saturday, Jan. 30 from 1 to 2 p.m., Jenny Heinzen York, editorial director of Kids Today magazine, will speak on “Trends from Tots to Tweens,” in which York will cover key business and fashion trends in the infants and kids industry. “Out of the Mouth of Babes’ Moms,” a panel discussion with new mothers and mothers-to-be, will be moderated by Lori Fisk-Connors, publisher of Baby & Children’s Product News, and is scheduled for 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 31. The following day, “Social Media Marketing to Moms”—in which Leesa Valentino, editorial manager of The Giggle Guide, will discuss how to use social media to improve business operations—is scheduled for 1 to 2 p.m.
All three programs will take place in 7 W New York’s 11th floor event space. The NYC Baby & Kids Fair—displaying kids fashion accessories, furnishings, gifts and textiles—will run concurrently with the New York International Gift Fair and New York Home Textiles Market.
