WithIt Announces 2011 WOW Awards Finalists

GREENSBORO, N.C.—WithIt, the women’s leadership development network, named the finalists for its WOW Awards for 2011, with Stickley Furniture President Aminy Audi earning its Legacy Award.
The Legacy Award is bestowed to a woman who has made significant lifetime contributions to the home and furnishings industries.
Nominees for the Education Award are Lauren West, director of communications for Natuzzi Americas; W.W. Epperson, partner, Mann, Armistead & Epperson; and Michelle Lamb, chairman and editorial director, Marketing Directions Inc., The Trend Curve.
Nominees for the Mentoring Award are Mary Frye, president, Home Furnishings Independents Association; Peggy Burns, Queen Bee, Circle Furniture; and Catherine Morsell, executive director, International Textile Market Association.
Leadership Award nominees are Dorothy Belshaw, senior vice president of GLM; Joni Greeson, co-owner, Collectic Home; and Connie Lineberry, vice president marketing, Furniture Today.
Future Leader Award nominees are Tammy Nagem, High Point Market Authority; Holly Blalock, vice president of merchandising and marketing, C.R. Laine; and Comer Wear, marketing director, Century Furniture.
The recipients for each award will be announced during WithIt’s annual conference, which will be held Aug. 23-25 at the Renaissance Raleigh North Hill Hotel in Raleigh, N.C.
