DENVER–Furniture Row Companies will open new Weekends @ Furniture Row stores in six cities next month.

Furniture Row, a weekends-only, high-volume furniture store featuring a new selection of discounted merchandise, will open stores in Jonesboro, Ark.; Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, Mich.; Appleton and Green Bay, Wis.; and St. George, Utah. The stores will be open only Fridays through Sundays and will feature new merchandise each week.

“We chose a great mix of communities and store types to launch this concept,” said Bill McKendry, marketing director, in a statement.  “We’re very excited about what we consider to be a ‘winning formula’ for our customers. The combination of lowest price, first-quality furniture, fresh selection, immediate availability and convenient weekend hours is exactly what we believe the customer wants.”

The store will carry fine wood dining, entertainment and home office furnishings; sofas and upholstered furniture and accent pieces; mattresses; and bedroom furniture and accessories from factory closeouts, overstocks and special or limited purchases, all available for immediate pick up or delivery.
