NEW YORK–Italian company Kartell has announced executive changes for its U.S. division. Emanuele Corvo, managing director of Kartell’s U.S. subsidiary, has resigned and will be leaving the company this week to pursue other interests, Kartell said in a statement.
In addition, John Jenkin will join the company April 1 in the new position of executive vice president, Kartell US, where he will explore and lead the company into new market segments, the company added.
Before joining the company, Jenkin headed his own firm, representing high-end Italian furnishings and lighting lines in the U.S. He previously lived in Italy and was the export manager for Foscarini for three years, and LucePlan before that.
“We are so pleased to have someone of John’s caliber and expertise to spearhead the evolution of Kartell,” said Demetrio Apolloni, general manager, Kartell SpA. “We are looking forward to working together to have deeper and stronger relationships with our current clients and customers and be poised for growth in new sectors.”
