THOMASVILLE, N.C.–Thomasville will launch a new magazine-like catalog and a $10,000 consumer sweepstakes in anticipation of the Memorial Day weekend.
The new catalog format reads more like a magazine than a catalog and features designer tips on how to refresh one’s home décor, the company said. The mag-alog, as the company calls it, will be mailed to consumers in Thomasville’s store markets in mid-May.
The brand is also launching a “Get Ready to Refresh” makeover giveaway, accessible to friends of Thomasville on Facebook. The sweepstakes is spotlighted in the Memorial Day catalog and also supported with online marketing, in-store signage, Facebook advertising, a Twitter campaign, direct mail and an email campaign. The sweepstakes illustrates that with only $10,000, a room can be completely refreshed. Examples of rooms filled with Thomasville furniture will be used throughout the sweepstakes campaign. The sweepstakes begins on May 13 and concludes on June 25, 2013.
