LEXINGTON, Ky.—Tempur-Pedic has rolled out the Tempur-Pedic Hugs Back campaign, an effort to raise money to advance research in pancreatic cancer.
November is National Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.
Tempur-Pedic will donate $10 to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network for every consumer who tests a Tempur-Pedic mattress at a participating authorized retailer this month. Also, the company has introduced a limited edition of its My Tempur-Pedic Teddy Bear, a portion of the sales of which will support the network.
The mattress-trial donation program will continue throughout the month or until $100,000 is raised for the network. Rick Anderson, president of Tempur-Pedic North America, said sales of the teddy bears helped raise $500,000 for pancreatic cancer research last year.
