Services Today for Furniture Sales Rep David Goldstein

TENAFLY, N.J.–Funeral services were scheduled to be held today for David Goldstein, president of furniture sales representative agency Metropolitan Furniture Marketing Services, who died this week after complications from back surgery. He was 66.
Goldstein was an award-winning sales rep who worked with Stanley, Universal, Schnadig and others throughout his career.
Goldstein served on the boards of the Greater New York Home Furnishings Association and the Metropolitan Furnishings Association of New Jersey.
In 2004, the Metropolitan Furnishings Association presented Goldstein with the Howard Liveright Memorial Award, which is the most distinguished award that can be given to a furniture sales representative in New Jersey.
Goldstein is survived by two brothers and two stepsons. Funeral services were slated for 11:30 a.m. today at the Gutterman Musicant funeral home, 402 Park St., Hackensack, N.J. Instead of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
