The New York Design Center to Host Fourth Annual Masquerade Ball

NEW YORK–The New York Design Center will host its fourth annual Masquerade Ball this Thursday, Oct. 29, as the NYDC lobby and 11th floor will be transformed into a 1930s tinsel movie musical created by The Alpha Workshops, the event’s benefiting organization.
Called “C’mon Get Happy,” the ball will have a night of music, dancing, food, as well as a photo booth and tarot card reader. Guests are encouraged to wear whatever makes them happy.
“The Masquerade Ball is a rare opportunity for the design industry to join together for a fun filled evening while raising much needed funds for The Alpha Workshops, a charitable organization rooted in design,” said Jim Druckman, president/chief executive officer, NYDC. “This year more than ever, we appreciate the generous contributions from our friends in the design community who continue to support the Masquerade Ball.”
Tickets are $150 at the door, or, new this year, $250 for special VIP tickets.
