HIGH POINT, N.C.–Magnussen Home Furnishings has entered into a multi-year licensing agreement with Crayola and plans to launch a youth bedroom line in its name at the High Point Furniture Market this October.
The furniture line will be designed to reflect Crayola’s brand positioning which focuses on unleashing each child’s originality and providing tools that inspire kids to express what they are thinking with their products. Magnussen plans to reflect this positioning by designing a furniture line with special features and furniture pieces that will enable a child to create and display their artwork and provide storage options for art supplies.
The furniture line will also incorporate pops of Crayola’s popular colors in accent pieces and bed designs and provide customizable hardware options using Crayola products.
The line will launch with bedroom groups that will appeal to both girls and boys. Each group will offer a complete line of bedroom SKUs including twin and full-sized beds, dresser, mirror, nightstand, chest and media chest, as well as a student desk, chair and hutch, bunk beds, captain’s beds, and storage units. Groups will be moderately priced with twin beds retailing from $299 to $399, nightstands retailing from $149 to $249 and dressers retailing at $399 to $599.
