HIGH POINT, N.C.–Ligo Products is moving to a new show space within the National Furniture Mart here. The space is expected to be open for the furniture market this spring.
The new showroom is in space 102, which was formerly occupied by Peoploungers. It measures 19,000 square feet, compared with the 17,000 square feet of space in Ligo’s previous showroom, which was also in the National Furniture Mart. Ligo, an importer of solid wood casual-dining furniture, occasional tables, bar stools and game sets, plans to introduce what it described as “an extensive lineup of new products” at the spring market, according to a statement from Merchandise Mart Properties, owner of the National Furniture Mart. This includes the company’s entry into two new categories, youth bedding and plasma television stands.
In the Merchandise Mart statement, Dan Angus, Ligo’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, said the new showroom “will allow us to show a broader range of products in a very accessible location.”
