WILLOWBROOK, Ill.–Comfort Solutions has appointed Kent Lamoreux senior vice president of marketing and merchandising, and has named Philip Y. Shen director of international business.
Lamoreux is responsible for all of the company’s marketing and merchandising activities, and will supervise all functions associated with Comfort Solutions’ showroom at the World Market Center in Las Vegas. He will also participate in the development of the company’s business and strategic plans, and control the display and functions of the corporate showroom at the company’s headquarters here. Mark Wozniak, who previously held the position, has left the company.
Shen’s position is new for the company. He will be in charge of implementing Comfort Solutions’ strategy to grow its brand around the world. Both Lamoreux and Shen report to Dave Roberts, the company’s president.
Before joining Comfort Solutions, Lamoreux was vice president of merchandising and operations for Sleep America, the Phoenix-area mattress retail chain. Shen, who recently retired from Leggett & Platt, was most recently the president of that company’s Asia-Pacific region.
