HIGH POINT, N.C.–The High Point Market Authority has booked KC & The Sunshine Band, Peter Frampton and Jo Dee Messina to perform at the fall version of its Stars Under the Stars free concert series.
On Monday, Oct. 20, KC & The Sunshine Band will play some of the hottest dance hits of the 1970s. On Tuesday, Oct. 21, Peter Frampton, one of the biggest arena rock superstars of the ’70s, takes the stage. Wednesday, Oct. 22, the series switches gears with country music star Jo Dee Messina.
The lineup follows performances at April High Point Market by Kool & The Gang, Cheap Trick and Robert Cray, among others, which “was very well received by market guests, and the Stars Under the Stars events continue to grow in popularity,” said Brian D. Casey, president and chief executive officer of the High Point Market Authority.
