Global Views Group Adds Sales Management Team

DALLAS-Two new sales managers have joined Global Views, which includes its companies Global Views Direct Sourcing and Studio A. Josh Jarboe has been appointed national sales director and Shawn Johnson-Burns key account sales manager/training manager.
"We have focused on assembling the best two-person team we could assemble to help propel the companies forward," said David Gebhart, CEO. "This team will help us turn our companies - already known in the industry for being product driven and marketing driven -- into a top notch sales driven organization as well."
Jarboe joins the company with more than 11 years of selling experience in the Atlanta area working with jDouglas. He will continue to be based in Atlanta and will help open up the new Global Views and Studio A corporate showroom in AmericasMart, planned for July.
"Josh has developed a visionary approach to selling that leaves no stones unturned and has been responsible for sustained growth in his own territory year after year," said Gebhart. "Intelligent, focused and authentically genuine are just a few of traits that helped us know without question that he is the one to lead our already accomplished sales team professionals upward to the next level of performance."
Reporting to Jarboe, Johnson-Burns has more than 20 years experience in both retail and wholesale. Most recently, she managed sales members for Loloi Rugs and prior to that, Arteriors Home. Johnson-Burns will be based out of the company's corporate headquarters here.
"Shawn's strong operational and training skills will help our team members expand their base of knowledge toward better servicing their customer base," said Gebhart. "In addition to training, Shawn will be responsible for managing and growing the key account sales team under the direct supervision of Josh Jarboe. Shawn brings years of involvement in industry organizations, plus a knowledge base of customer buying behaviors to the key account sales team."
