AUSTIN, Texas–Sears Holdings Corp. has named Four Hands as a 2007 Partner in Progress, citing the manufacturer’s outstanding product and service to The Great Indoors, a division of Sears, according to a statement from Four Hands.
Sears’ Partners in Progress awards are presented annually to a select group of supplier companies that provide the retailer with quality products and services. Less than 1 percent of the more than 30,000 companies that supply Sears Holdings earn the award annually.
“Partners in Progress was started more than 20 years ago and is a testament to the importance of collaborating with our supplier partners to better serve our customers and grow profitably,” said Bruce Johnson, Sears Holdings’ interim chief executive officer and president. “The Partners in Progress program allows our company to recognize those suppliers who have gone above and beyond to support Sears Holdings and help us achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness.”
Matthew Briggs, president and chief operating officer of Four Hands, felt honored that his company received the award. “This is a testament of our commitment to our customers and the strong level of service that we provide. We look forward to continuing our work with Sears in the future.”
