Dallas Market Center Launches Mobile App

       

       

DALLAS–Dallas Market Center has released a comprehensive mobile application, downloadable from the iTunes and Android app stores. Named DallasMarket, the app includes multiple tools to help buyers navigate market and keep up to date on DMC news and events.

In addition, from now until Jan. 31, DMC will donate eight meals per download to Feeding America, a leading domestic hunger-relief charity in the United States.

“It’s our goal to offer the latest technology to help our buyers have the best market experience possible,” said Bill Winsor, president and CEO, Dallas Market Center. “The DallasMarket app is the most up-to-date and comprehensive tool for a dynamic marketplace.”

The DMC’s app includes a search function, powered by Google, to allow quick look-up of exhibitors, products, and lines; exhibitor profiles; floor maps and a campus guide; market food guide showing food outlet locations and hours; a “My Market” feature that allows attendees to mark favorite showrooms, plan appointments and seminars to attend and make notes; custom reminder alerts that can be sent for special events; DMC’s Twitter feed, an “Around Town” feature that lists after-market activities; and shuttle and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Rail information.
