Creative Lifestyle, Living and Giving the Themes at Tendence

       

       

FRANKFURT, Germany–Consumer goods trade show Tendence, scheduled for Aug. 27 to 31 here, will focus on three themes this year: Giving, Living and Creative Lifestyle.

Under the Living theme, home products will be found in several areas of the show, including Hall 11. The Interiors & Decoration section in Halls 8.0 and 9.0 will present international furnishing ideas, home accessories, furniture, textiles and lighting. Products for indoors and outdoors, such garden furniture, plant pots and other decorative accessories, will be found in Seasonal Decoration and Outside Living sections in Hall 8.0.

The Giving section will be the platform for creative gift-giving ideas. Sections within the show that will focus on this include Gifts Unlimited in Hall 9.1 for traditional gifts, Kids World, “Manufakturen and Collectables” and Personal Accessories in Hall 9.2. Hall 9.3 will highlight jewelry with the Carat section as well as the Arts and Crafts group. In Hall 10.1, exhibitors from abroad will show their lines in Passage Gifts, while the stylish ideas for young people will be in Young & Trendy, in Hall 11.1.

The Passage section is for volume buyers, and Passage Home & Garden in Hall 10.2 will have home accessories, small furniture items, and textiles for the outdoors. Hall 10.3 will have Passage Table & Kitchen to showcase glass and tabletop, kitchen equipment and accessories.

In addition, design and trends seen at the show will be represented in Personal Shopper, assembled by Viennese designer Julia Landsiedl. The show continues to promote young designers, who will display their prototypes and products in the Talents section. For young designers who have already seen some success, their products will be seen in Next (in Loft, Hall 11.0 and Carat, Hall 9.3).
