HIGH POINT, N.C.–CA Boom, a West Coast design trade show and exhibition, will launch its first East Coast show during the fall 2008 High Point Market.
Titled CA Boom East, the show will be held at The Mills Village, the newly opened showroom complex here. It will run from Oct. 20 to 26 in the flexible showroom space at The Mills Village. CA Boom East will feature new, independent contemporary furnishings designers and manufacturers “that have yet to be discovered by top contemporary and transitional retailers,” according to a CA Boom statement.
The West Coast version of the show has been running since 2004. Most recently, it ran from March 14 to 16 in Santa Monica, Calif., and featured vendors of tabletop, furniture and floor covering products.
