ALEXANDRIA, Va.–Gerry Borreggine, president and CEO of Therapedic, has been elected chairman of the International Sleep Products Association.
Borreggine succeeds Don Wright, chairman of Wright of Thomasville, who served as ISPA’s chairman for the past 18 months. He said his agenda will focus on strengthening ISPA’s advocacy for the sleep-products industry in Washington and in the nation’s state capitals.
In welcoming Borreggine to the association’s chairmanship, Ryan Trainer, ISPA’s president, also congratulated Wright for making changes that “are transformational to make the organization much more vital to the business interests of our members.” Trainer said ISPA is now making “significant investments” toward improved communication with its members, which include website enhancements, a larger presence in social networking and a facelift to the association’s industry publications.
