Aspenhome, the growing furniture company, held a grand opening ceremony earlier this month for its new 323,000-square-foot distribution center and corporate offices in Phoenix, more than doubling the furniture company’s inventory capacity and improving logistics.
“This building is a tribute to our retail partners,” said Bill Colegrove, chief executive officer, at the ribbon-cutting ceremony where he unveiled what the company calls a “Dedication Wall” with the names of all its retail customers. “They have trusted their businesses to Aspenhome and in the process have helped make us who we are today.”
Colegrove added, “This new building will help us more fully meet their expanding needs as we strive to continuously improve our logistics and warehousing services.”
The new facility increases the number of truck bays from the previous eight to 40, allows for the latest logistics technology and offers overall improved quality control in product handling, according to the company.
