AmericasMart’s outdoors/gardens area, called Living. Outdoor/Indoor. The Gardens., is poised to be the center of attention in Building 2 WestWing during this month’s Atlanta Gift & Home Furnishings Market.
The two-floor (9th and 10th), 200,000 square-foot product center is 100 percent leased and fully occupied with more than 100 companies offering innovative products, many exclusive to AmericasMart. Products in The Gardens include everything from casual furnishings to pottery and statuary to patio-room and sunroom accessories.
Connected by a two-story waterfall, the themed product center was created to capture the natural spirt of the outdoor lifestyle product mix.
Numerous special events are planned for the section during the market.
“Our Gardens showroom owners bring a dynamic mixture of casual living products, home accessories products and gifts to AmericasMart,” said Karen Greaber, vice president, leasing for AmericasMart. “The lifestyle presentation is unlike anything else here or at any other market center. The venue, made up of wandering cobblestone and brick pathways with florals and leaves overhanging the pathways, is the perfect environment for our outdoor living products to flourish.”
Among the companies with showrooms in The Gardens are Telescope Casual Furniture, Woodstock Percussion, Summer Classics, Regal Art & Gifts, Stone World, The Elegant Earth and Windham. A complete list of permanent showrooms can be found at americasmart.com.
Events to be held in The Gardens during the market include Southern Supper in The Gardens featuring “Low Country” cuisine on July 10, 6-8 p.m.; The Great Grill Giveaway drawing to be held on July 11, 2 p.m.; and Garden Gourmet Coffee & Cookies on July 11-12 at 3 p.m.
The Gardens has been a flagship product category at AmericasMart for more than 15 years. Originally on the 14th and 15th floors of Building One, the venue was updated and improved when the category was relocated to Building 2 WestWing, the newest building in the AmericasMart complex.—Duke Ratliff
