It was all black ties and big smiles at the Anti-Defamation League Awards Tribute and Dinner Dance, held last month in New York. This annual event for the home furnishings industry brought out hundreds of industry members to celebrate the three industry veterans being honored.
Jeff Cook, president of Broyhill Furniture, received the American Heritage Award. Lester Gribetz, now president of Lenox but known best for his long career at Bloomingdale’s, was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. And Gordon Segal, founder, long-time president and now chairman of Crate and Barrel, was also honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. The civic and industry accomplishments of all three honorees were noted during the presentations.
Neil Goldberg of Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Joe Laneve of Bloomingdale’s served as industry chairs for the event which raises funds for the ADL.
