NEW YORK–7 W New York is opening The John Aspley Collection on the eighth floor of the showroom building.
The collection includes antiques, collectibles and handcrafted objects, and is the first of a series of curated gallery exhibits in the building. Aspley is the owner and curator of Antiques & Interiors, based in the United Kingdom, which offers a wide variety of rare pieces from countries in Europe, Africa and the Far East.
To celebrate the debut of the collection, 7 W New York will host a cocktail reception during the New York Gift and Home Textiles Market on Monday, Aug. 17, from 4-5 p.m.
