NEW YORK–Veeder + Perman, a public relations and marketing communications partnership formed 12 years ago by Mark Veeder and Esther Perman, has undergone a name change and rebranding that reflects the addition of a new partner, Margaux Caniato.
The business has been renamed VP+C, and in joining as chief innovation officer, Caniato brings to the SoHo-based agency added global marketing communications and advertising experience, according to the company. For the past two years she was vice president of marketing & advertising at Liz Claiborne, Inc., where she also had previously served as director of public relations/corporate marketing from 1999 to 2004. During a four-year absence from Liz Claiborne, Caniato was manager external designers/partnerships for Target Corporation.
The newly minted VP+C recently was awarded two accounts: The HON Company, manufacturer of office furnishings, and InterfaceFLOR, a maker of sustainable modular carpet tile.
