ATLANTA–The America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards, sponsored by Architectural Digest, will honor innovative rug designers and manufacturers on Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Marriott Marquis Atrium Ballroom, during the winter AmericasMart Atlanta market.
The annual event, complete with live music and preceded by a lavish cocktail reception, highlights rugs in various price ranges and in several categories: handmade, power-loomed, antique and contemporary.
A team of independent judges will hand-select the category winners from MOI: The Museum of Introductions—the area rug industry’s exclusive showing of product introductions in a museum setting in one complete presentation.
Additionally, one unique area rug will receive the Buyer’s Choice award, chosen by retailers from around the globe who select their favorite rug.
The MOI Gallery will be open Friday, Jan. 9, to Sunday, Jan. 11, in Building 1, Floor 4, 4-B-1. The awards ceremony will take place Saturday, Jan. 10, at 5:30 p.m.
